The Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals has the responsibility to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Zoning Administrator related to the zoning code. Also, the board has the responsibility to permit conditional uses, authorize variances, determine similarity of uses, authorize the substitution or extension of nonconforming uses, and declare zoning permits void.


The board consists of five members and the secretary:

The Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals meets at City Hall in the Council Chambers on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month or as needed.
