The Bucyrus City Income Tax Office is announcing that effective, Monday, March 2, 2020, we are implementing a new credit card system.
Taxpayers will be able to pay their taxes by credit card, debit card or echeck in person, online or by phone through the GovPayNow system. There is a fee for using this system and the taxpayer will know the cost prior to submitting payment. Payments of $40.00 or less will cost $1.00, any payment over $40.00 will be charged at 2.25%. The fee for an echeck is $1.00 regardless of the amount. The online services will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The links for this system will be on the City’s website and information is available in the City Income Tax Office or at www.GovPayNow.com or by calling 1-888-604-7888. While tax payments can be made online, tax returns will need to be mailed or submitted in person in the tax office.
