DEER BOW HUNTING LOTTERY
Each year, the City of Bucyrus holds a deer hunting lottery in September. To register for the lottery, all you need to do is call the city before the date of the drawing. This year's drawing will be held on September 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mayor's office. Winners will be notified. The public is welcomed to attend.
To be eligible to hunt , you need a valid Ohio hunting license with the appropriate stamps, and a valid photo identification issued by the State of Ohio. A permit will be issued by the Service Safety Director or their designee. Hunting will take place at the Bucyrus Reservoir property with the exception of the former Pines reservoir. Bow hunting is the only permissible type of hunting.
