Airport Commission
The Airport Commission shall have the power to study, investigate, plan, advise, report and recommend to Council, the Mayor or the Service-Safety Director, any action, program, plan or piece of legislation which the Commission finds or determines to be necessary or advisable for the care, preservation, maintenance, expansion, improvement or operation of the local Bucyrus-Crawford County Airport.The Airport Commission consists of five members:

Bucyrus City Board of Control
The Bucyrus City Board of Control meets after bids are opened to approve and award the winning bid. The meetings are held in the Mayor's Conference Room.The Bucyrus City Board of Control consists of three members:
- Mayor Roger A. Moore
- Service-Safety Director Jeff Wagner
- Administrative Assistant Eunice A. Collene
Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals
The Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals has the responsibility to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an erroer in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Zoning Administratior related to the zoning code. Also, the board has the responsibility to permit conditional uses, authorize variances, determine similarity of uses, authorize the substitution or extention of nonconforming uses, and declare zoning permits void.
The Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals meets at City Hall in the Council Chambers on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month as needed. The board consists of five members and the secretary:

Bucyrus City Civil Service Commission
All members are appointed by the Mayor. Not more than two members of the commission shall be adherent to the same political party.
Commission meets the first Monday of each month at 5:30pm in the Civil Service Office at Bucyrus City Hall. The duties of the commission are listed in the "Civil Service Rules and Regulations" Section 3.02 as per ORC 124.
The Bucyrus City Civil Service Commission consists of three members and the clerk:

Bucyrus City Housing Advisory Committee
The Bucyrus City Housing Advisory Committee meets once a year in February regarding the CHIP Grant. They go over every detail of the grant and decide on five items form the list provided to invest the money where there is the greatest need; such as home repair, utilities, Habitat for Humanity, etc.

Bucyrus City Income Tax Review Board
A meeting is called by the Auditor when an income tax amount is disputed and a review hearing is requested. This board has no terms. New members are appointed when one resigns or passes on. Meetings are held at City Hall.
The Bucyrus City Income Tax Review Board consists of three members:

Bucyrus City Planning Commission
The Bucyrus City Planning Commission is responsible for oversite and approval of any new public building, structures, streets, parks and other public ground, bridges, or other public way, works, or utility, whether publicly or privately owned. The powers of the Planning Commission are those granted by ORC 713. The Bucyrus City Planning Commission meets on an as-needed basis in Bucyrus City Hall Council Chambers.

Bucyrus City Records Commission
The Bucyrus City Records Commission meets in March and October of each year. Every department of the City establishes a "Records Retention Schedule" (RC-2 form) for their department for approval by the commission. Once the commission approves the RC-2 form, it is sent to the Ohio Historical Society for their approval. Once the Ohio Historical Society sends their approval, records can be disposed of by using the "Certificate of Records Disposal" (RC-3 form). The RC-3 form muct be sent to the Ohio Historical Society. If you do not hear from the Ohio Historical Society within 15 business days, the records can be disposed of. The meetings are held in Bucyrus City Hall Council Chambers.

Bucyrus City Safety Team
The Bucyrus City Safety Team meets once a month in Bucyrus City Hall Council Chambers. They discuss safety issues within the city and ways to improve these issues. They discuss any incidents that have happened and conduct quarterly safety training.

Bucyrus City Storm Water Utility Board of Appeals
The Bucyrus City Storm Water Utility Board of Appeals will meet as needed. The Secdretary notifies the members via mail when a meeting is set. The duties of the board are listed in the Bucyrus Codified Ordinances, Chapter 927, Section 927.09. The meetings are held in Bucyrus City Hall Council Chambers.
The Bucyrus City Storm Water Utility Board of Appeals consists of five voting members and Three non-voting members, and the secretary.
